List of what I used and where you can get it!
Gamsol - I had to pre-order it from Aaron Brothers but you can buy "Mona Lisa Paint thinner" from Micheal's and it's in the art section. Look in the back and it should say "orderless mineral spirits"
Blending Stump and Tortillons - these are also in Micheal's in the art section
Crayola Colored Pencils - I have the 50 count and I bought mine at Wal-mart when they were on sale before school
A emery board - I used an old nail filer

  • I cant stand to spend so much moneh on copics just to not be very great with markers. D: Im an animation student though. So I need something painterly. SO going to grab some mineral spirits to use with my prismas I just bought!

  • @StudioVibe Yeah, I agree! The copic markers are sooo expensive so this was an awesome solution. Still waiting to get my prisma coloring pencils but I might just add these in my Christmas list!

  • Nice coloring Silly does the Gramsa have any order to it. I have to try this i didn't now you could get the same effect with just regular color pencils i thought you need the expensive ones. Great to know that you can use Crayola pencils.

  • I have some prisma color and crayola pencils , my nephew, my boyfriend and I prefer the crayola one.... I know..... it's sound crazy but them blend as good as the prisma with gamsol and baby oil...... keep your money for more stamps......

  • Girl.. thats awesome.. I tried doing it.. and well not soooo good.. I used the mineral spirits.. and well i forgot i got some on my hands.. and then later on.. i felt something on my tongue. i touched my tongue to take it out and OOO! BHAH! i washed out my tongue and till this day i have weird spots on the sides of my tongue and it still tingles. this was in beginning of January! SO now i'm SCARED! I finally bought empty bingo daubers from Oriental trading co. me still scared to try again!
