@imsgoalie1 The movie "Chuck and Larry" pointed out that heterosexual men are able to falsely claim to be in a homosexual relationship as a cover-up to get benefits, such as pension and life insurance.

It's not likely that two opposite-gender friends would pull-off a scheme like this. And even if they did and were later caught, there's still a chance that they could fall for each other for real.

@davidspade200 Right, my point is that a guy and girl could commit the same kind of fraud by faking a traditional marriage, and people would be less suspicious of them as straight people. So should we outlaw traditional marriage also, or maybe outlaw benefits for people's spouses, same sex or otherwise?

It's a stupid reason to oppose gay marriage.

@imsgoalie1 I was referring to straight coworkers. That's fraud; claiming to be a married gay couple in order to be covered under each other's life insurance plans.
