YIDS is still a mess. its like starwars original trilogy vs. the prequels. the original movies where so good most people hate the prequels just because nothing will live up to the original. doesn't help that yoshi never shuts up anymore.... like someone else i know.

@Montork I know its not as good as the original, a sequel can only be better than a prequel if the prequel wasn't good enough to begin with, but to Me the DS sequel is a good game in its own right, well I think the people are sick of the two of us, so I'll say we just agree to disagree.

@Montork almost every character in the Mario series has had their own playable chance to shine, you say they should just leave Yoshi fans hanging forever, like it or not we'd still like to see games with him as the star I don't want the Island series to die, it's pretty much the only game currently that the Yoshi series has going for itself after all I don't want to go back to the Story .touch screen, and tilt gimmick crap.

@Montork I mean they were trying new things with the Yoshi series as the games that came after the original one yet before the DS sequel had shown, but the new things they were trying to do with the Yoshi's series weren't working or being all that successful so they tried a sequel to the original. If you mean Nintendo should have tried something new not concerning Yoshi they have games for other characters in the Mario series all the time almost every major well-known Mario *2bcont.*
