THX are no longer certifying these microphones, Nothing wrong with them, no specs have been changed, this is possibly due to length of the contract between THX and Blue, not sure on the full story but if you do not have a THX logo, do not panic, you have not been ripped off for a fake.

@TheMiwaro The reason it doesn't is because it's the newest version. THX just took their name off the mic, the only thing they fixed was the wobbly knob . Everything else is the EXACT same
-
mine also doesn't...

@TheMiwaro Mine doesn't either, but it came new in a box. So I guess some aren't made with the THX logo on it.

@TheBGBstudio what won't stay on? Does it loosen and then fall? See my comments about drilling on the other side.
-
@ShadowAudio Turn what? The pop guard? Try drilling a hole on the left side. That way the weight of the pop guard tightens when you move it. When it's on the right side it loosens. I minor tweak to BG's design. Don't worry about the extra hole if you've already drilled it. It looks just fine.

@TheBGBstudio No it's not. Just drill a hole on the other side. I have the extra hole and it looks just fine.

After following this approach, I would add a couple suggestions suggestion:
1) Drill the hole on the other side of the base. (Left side so it wraps around counter clockwise.) When you install it as shown here, the weight of the pop filter can make it unscrew - especially if you fiddle with it at all. You will find yourself tightening it frequently because it can droop. If you do it on the other side of the base, the weight of the filter tends to tighten the screw.
