Theatre organ in a Box sounds on the Tyros 2; actually samples from Total Transformation Technology, loaded onto the hard-drive of my Tyros 2. Sound recorded using the Zoom Q3 video recorder. ( Live stereo mic )
I'm not really used to this ( new to me) way of playing and am still getting used to the voicing, but maybe the video might be of some interest. Hopefully I can really get into this new Tyros application. The samples are absolutely brilliant, and I haven't even started to use the newer HD stereo samples yet.
Please leave a comment and/or a rating if you enjoy the video. Love to have some feedback as I would like to get into this style of playing.

  • Well played Keith, sounds like you are really getting into this style, and them samples sound great. If it was me I would use the XK3 for the lower manual to give a better organ experience, I've just done this myself so I can now play my Tyros on my 2 manual XK3 system including bass pedals, and using the bass sounds from the Regi-Stick Plus templates.

    Hi Keith,

I sussed out using the XK-3 and now I am using the Tyros split as before, but with active voices on R2, R3 and left (Left is midi'd to lower manual of XK-3 )

XK-3's keyboard is now midi'd to the Tyros R1 voice,

so I can use the TTT samples as a three manual organ plus pedalboard.

I find this works really well, as you get the quick contrast between the two upper manuals.

I am using the Hammond bass sounds at the moment which work OK with the TTT samples

Thanks a lot, for leaving your kind comment. The Total transformation technology samples really are powerful. The sampling is absolutely stunning. I haven't even used the new ones here, the high definition stereo samples are even more powerful. What is impressive as well is that I only used the Tyros sub/satellite sound system, which is an amazing sound from so small a system.

You can hear the bass here if you use headphones or a decent amp.

The recording was done using a Zoom Q3

  • Great and powerfull, very nice, congratulations and thank you 5*****
