My first Super 8 film shot in Northern Ontario. The Kodachrome 40 film I used was 34 years old, so there is a white mist on the film.

  • your film has a great feel to it - i really like it - Too bad the film was so old but hey that's what experimentation is for.

What camera do you shoot on?

  • I shot this on a Yashica super 25, I think. It has manual zoom, but the focus is run off the battery and light sensor. I also have a 1950's standard 8 I plan on testing out. Thanks for your feedback Jody. It means quite a bit coming from you :)

  • @CrestlineCrew Thanks for the feedback! I have an 8mm ektachrome reel I still wish to shoot. The 8mm camera I have is hand cranked, so it should have a inconsistent framerate effect!

  • ...bad light leak into your camera...start taping up the gap on the film compartment door...

  • Nice work, i like the fogged filmatic look, and of course how could you go wrong with RUSH... well done

  • Being an old film gave it a cool texture (or annoying lol.) Still, I think it looks wicked on top of buildings and what not.

  • oh no prob. Keep shooting film projects and have fun - I know I'm long overdue to shoot some footage but as soon as I do I'll keep you posted

  • interesting video Jarrett 5*
