Cold start and driving the 1978 Beetle

You might want to have the heater hoses put back on in the engine bay. That can cause over heating.

Nice bug, but if you ask me you should move the fuel line with the fuel filter crossing the 'exhaust pre-heating pipe' . In case this fuel line will burst, trust its a hose (?), you will have petrol spraying on you exhaust = engine fire!

@bent1963 This is too hard to happen... That fuel line is pretty strong

Check your choke and fast idle. It is idling too slow.

Since it is a VW Beetle, it probably needs to have the valves adjusted.

Legal ver que tem gente aqui que também gosta de vídeos assim, tipo esses de cold start. É interessante fazer ele em inglês porque ainda não tem "público" aqui no país pra esse tipo de video. Planejo fazer uns assim também.

Thank you, JSneaker! It is lazy to maneuver hahaha But really would be easier to leave if I park it facing forward. In a few days i'll change the carburetor (brand new) and make a new video with better quality. Thanks for watching.
