They create the music I wanna hear in modern retro remakes like Sonic 4 or XBA games, but rarely if ever happens. It's like game composer didn't grow up with Genesis and SNES music. They're out of touch with what their audience wants.

Clarify the comment to RSixCookie, I mean are you ex-RSi (?), not that I don't believe you're missing the Amiga. I still miss mine; AMOS, Bltz BASIC, DPaint, Imagine, etcetera, 18 years later. The best computer ever, took the PC over decade and a non Windows OS to equal its versatility, as it was then.

please tell me how do you make video files out of the demos. i tried with a desktop recorder, but it looks horrible.

Simple used Fraps for recording fullscreen and converted to avi or flv with Corel VideoStudio (any other do it's job too, like VirtualDubMod ;)
