What was the total magnification taken? Or just the eyepiece magnification?

The total eyepiece magnification was about 96X, which was brought up to about 960X with optical zoom on the camera.

That was awesome. I wonder though why does the hue or color of Saturn seem to change throughout the video?

I never noticed that before - it seems to be pretty subtle. I think that was probably just the camera trying to auto-adjust the hue settings though.

man i have no idea what telescope to get im just an amateur admirer of space..not into photography or anything. but tonight was a lunar eclipse and Saturn was right by it, and even just seeing a small glimpse of the planet and the rings was a historical event to me. so what im asking is, what is a good telescope without breaking past 1000 bucks.

Hi, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the lunar eclipse and Saturn. Both are fantastic views.
As for a telescope, the one I use (a 10" Dobsonian) is under $1000 Australian. You should be able to find a similar telescope at some local telescope shops or online.
