4,000 bps loading for Zx Spectrum

Loading Space Raiders in 37 seconds (normal load takes 2 minutes) with a normal magnetic tape.
Tape was recorded with k7zx 4.0 (option Andante)

Just got a system set up where I can relatively reliably load at about 5300 bps on my +2A!

well yer it's ideally suited for an mp3 player really, but you just have to force it to use a lower bitrate to get it to work. Also how are you outputting? your using a Y cable? where it splits to 2 monos?.. as you need only ONE channel recording into the tape player.

i did have the wrong version, but im sure i downloaded from that site, thx a million i got it now, TBH though i have better results with tzx2wav, speed 1, most games will load this way whereas k7zx seems to be more for mp3 loading rather than tape as the success rate isn't high for me

the only version i can download is 3.00 I can't even see no configuration settings  how you switch conversion type please

if you switch conversion type to "Ma Non Troppo" .. in settings then you get the Adante 4000 bps option.. .. I only know because I asked @ world of spectrum forum =) .

the lowest you can go is 6000 bps and there is no option andante i can only download k7zx 4.3
