What does Chet Edwards have to do with San Francisco liberal Nancy Pelosi? A lot more than you think. Edwards is the most liberal Congressman from Texas, ignoring his constituents and voting with Pelosi 96% of the time. Together, they called for an end to the Iraq war and voted against the Surge. Its little wonder that Nancy Pelosi championed Edwards for Vice President. Edwards campaigned for Obama, and said he was honored to be considered for Barack Obamas running mate. Edwards continues to support Obamas unilateral and misguided agenda. With friends like these, who needs enemies?

While he has voted with Democrats 96% of the time, he voting record only shows a liberal score of 53.7 this year (out of a scale from 1 to 100). Congressman Edwards is not a liberal, he is a moderate progressive.
