i hate this just as much as i hate the ad but I think what the ad was saying is that "the planet is so brutally powerful" that if we don't "Respect it. Preserve it.", Mother Nature will give us a beating, like a tsunami, far worse than 9/11. That's a horrible horrible thing to say and that's why it's an unacceptable ad.

It's easy to be a "creative" agency when your clients don't have to approve the ads you enter the award shows.
P.S.: Someone tell these people that tsunamis have nothing to do with "preserving" the planet.
