Larry Newman, the owner of the American Aerolights Company which produced the Eagle ultralights, passed away in December 2010. Back in 1983, I considered buying an Eagle XL like the one in this video, but I ended up buying an EIPPER Quicksilver MX instead. Remember "EipperFormance?" My Quicksilver MX was powered by a twin cylinder Rotax engine.
The Eagle looks a bit like an old-style Klingon battle cruiser. But then again, I stretch my imagination sometimes. I like them!
