Religious leaders Combat 'fear and intolerance' over Islamic center
Today
Top faith leaders will meet today in Washington to discuss the country's reaction to the proposed Islamic Cultural Center near Ground Zero. The Islamic Society of North America will examine the interfaith response of the controversy and lay out a plan of action for interfaith collaboration moving forward.
Leaders from the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim faiths will discuss how their religions can work together to combat what they call "an atmosphere of fear and intolerance" toward Islam. The National Press Club meeting aims to discuss the state of interfaith solidarity and propose solutions to the anti-Muslim discrimination that has emerged in recent weeks.
It would be great if the Muslim peoples of the world would speak up loud and long about the violence committed by so called Muslims who claim to be defending their religion, but we will have to wait a long time for that as they all are afraid to be considered "Un Islamic",you cannot defend a religion by force but Islam seems to believe you can, thats why we are afraid of Islam.

Please be honest and reply sincerely. Since you have attained freedom in the US have you ever tried to eleviate your own society back home? insisted that they try to match or strive to promote these freedoms in their own societies? if you have please provide details of your efforts? if not then those are the people who need to be educated and liberated before you can lecture secular societies.
