Unfortunately, they did not make it to Christmas. Maggie was supposed to live until the Fall to get training, but the "rescue" killed her before the fall...before winter...before Christmas.

Marbles and Maggie...Merry Christmas...from the people who loved you, and still remember you.

well the rescue euthanized the pony- Maggie, because she accidentally stepped on someone's ankle and broke it. So they assumed she was "too dangerous" to adopt out. so they euthanized her. Then Marbles the thoroughbred, they euthanized him because they thought he was "in pain" even though he wasn't at all. They really euthanized him because he was old, unridable and they assumed he was "unadoptable". So they killed him for space :'( Bad rescue :(

Most rescues don't have the room and just can't keep horses that aren't gonna have a really good chance. Don't blame the rescue. At least they took them in. Blame the retard who dumped the horse, because they didn't know what they were getting into.

Those horses DID have a chance. That rescue did have space. Please refrain from calling my friend a "retard". She had the pony for 2 years, it was the rescue's dumb fault for killing 2 innocent horses then lying about it.

That is so sad, so unfair. Such beautiful horses, murdered. It's so horrible, i would love my own horse so much, and yet these poor creatures are discarded of so easily.
