Hawker Sea Fury T20 (VX281) displaying at Kemble in 2011.
The Hawker Sea Fury, powered by a Bristol Centaurus radial engine, was one of the fastest and most advanced piston engine fighter aircraft built. The Sea Fury was developed from the successful Hawker Tempest fighter of the Second World War. It entered service with the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy after the World War II had ended. However, the Hawker Sea Fury saw action in the Korean War flying from Royal Navy aircraft carriers (HMS Ocean, HMS Glory & HMS Theseus) and the Royal Australian Navy aircraft carrier, HMAS Sydney.
The Hawker Sea Fury T20 in this video is owned by Naval Aviation Limited and operated by the Royal Navy Historic Flight RNHF.

My Father served on the HMS Glory and would have loved to have seen this. I have & treasure his photo album which holds many shots of the Sea Fury's :-)
