Dee Holt * Federal Green Party Candidate

Dee Holt has just been nominated to be the Green Party Federal candidate. We NEED change, not just in the traditional sense of the changing of the guard in our two party political system, but real change.
Federally it is a ping-pong match as the two party system supported by big business, lobbyists and an ever aging constituency vie to have their party in power.
Canadians by the droves are turned off by our inadequate two party systems at electing a representational candidate and thus a government by the people. Just think, if we have an election this fall that will be the fourth election in five yearsand no matter who wins Liberal or Conservative, IT WILL BE A MINORITY.
Lessons from the Democratic campaign of US President Obama could be used by a progressive party, using all methods of social media to reach and motivate the silent majority. Without being a copycat, the message of Yes We Can has the kind of positive ring that it could inspire Canadians to go to the polls.
If we thought that our vote counted, that it wasnt going to be the same twiddle Dee and twiddle dumb (Liberal/Conservative) government, people would go to the polls and send a message. WE ARE NOT TAKING IT ANY MORE.
