  • One of my coworkers played hookey that day and went to the casino instead of to work and died in the fire as a result

  • I sort of remember hearing about this. How tragic!

  • "C" extinguishers are used in chemical fires. I.E: gas fires, a spilled chemical was set on fire or reacted with another chemical, causing combustion.

However, "B" and "C" fires can become "A" fires or easier to put out by turning off the electrical power or isolating/ removing much of the chemical, leaving the fire the elements its currently burning. The fire will end up being smaller, or it'll burn itself out due to no materials to burn.

  • If u look at fire extinguishers mounted in public buildings, you should see a "A", "B", "C", or an "ABC" designation.

Fire extinguishers designated "A" are good for wood/paper fires. I.E: somebody emptied an ashtray into a wastepaper basket.

Ones designated "B" are for electrical fires: i.e. a shorted out wire set the wall or carpet on fire.

  • Try imagine, my Birthday party was ruined by that day. R.I.P. all who died on my birthday and on this day.

  • The segment should have been called, "Dupont Plaza Hotel Arson," instead of a general term, like, "Puerto Rico." It better explains what the episode is about. More like the segment about the Chase, Maryland train wreck in Episode 116, named "Amtrak," not , "Chase, Maryland train wreck."

  • wow...what time did the fire start?

  • wat r the different kinds like what does A B C mean and can you just kind of explain it to me please?

  • thing was that the perpetrators of the fire ended up lighting up some of those sterno thingies (the portable flame things that are often used in some buffets) inside a room which had flammable material including some unused furniture

  • this is soooooo scary!!!! =[
