LOL, that microwave will out sell and outlast ANY Holden ever produced. Not to mention, better re-sale value and BETTER built than any Holden ...But, you cant expect much out of a Holden or a Holden fan.

can anyone tell me what make it a great car??... i think am gonna buy a car
-
@lolitstinks1 I really just don't see whats so good about them. Everyone buys them, I mean sure they're a practical family car, but when there is cheaper competition thats miles ahead I know which one I'd buy. After looking at many Commodores for my first car I've decided they're full of leaky engines, transmissions are slow, interior quality is very, very poor and they're very uneconomical. I bought a Magna (Verada actually) and I'll be staying with that.

good how holden is finally feeling the heat from competition like the Aurion and Accord V6 eh?
-
@wue2117 Because whilst the VE is a good car, the previous Commodores could have been a lot better. Especially compared to what the competition (Toyota & Mitsubishi, Falcon is in the same boat as Commodore) had to offer.
-
@pilotliam Finally someone who actually knows there are better Australian cars than Commodores. Even I knew this back in the days of the Mitsubishi Magna.
-
why is everyone bashing the commodore so much here? the VE is a fucking great car. so is the Aurion. both amazing cars.
-
@pilotliam Handles better too. There is no reason to buy a Commodore over a Aurion. The only reason you would buy a Commodore is if you have a little bit of brain damage from drinking VBs with all your Commodore driving mates. Apart from that, the Aurion is a far better car in every way, however you look at it

I WAS a Holden fan for the last 10 yrs, ovning a VU ute (non work ute) and then 2 VE sedans, Never buying a Holden again after buying an 09 upgrade SX6 Aurion in october '10, 600k's out of a full tank in Sydney, I never once had a Holden come close to that in k's.Downside is front wheel drive, but you dont care about the front wheel drive after a while and i certainly dont miss the rough ride of a crapadore any more.As for Fords,They have only ever been good for putting TAXI signs on the roof.
I'd honestly prefer a Aurion over a Holden Commodore. Its also cheaper than a Commodore, more powerful than a V6 Commodore, and more fuel efficient than any Commodore.
