Robin Buys A Better RV: 1978 GMC Royale Voyage Home

Today I left out early and picked up my new-to-me 1978 GMC Royale motorhome. These things were seriously ahead of their time. Composite body, front wheel drive, 6 wheel indendent suspension, less than 10 feet tall, and drives like a big van. These GMCs are the only RV manufactured by one of the Big Three automakers from 1973 to 1978. Just under 13k were built in total, of which 8k are still around.
