Dann Rogers - Looks Like Love Again -- [STEREO]

Dann Rogers is the Nephew of Kenny Rogers. In 1978, he released an excellent LP called "Hearts Under Fire". A couple of songs became singles from the album. The track called "China" didn't chart, but it contains some superb saxophone solos that are worth a listen. Our featured single did make the Billboard "Hot 100". "Looks Like Love Again" was released in late 1979 and stayed on the charts through early 1980, making it up to #41. It's a fun, happy, up-tempo pop tune that clocks in at a short 2 minutes 36 seconds!

Thanks MusicMike2 for the post and keeping this 1979 memory going. I thought the song was well crafted ...and your comment about it reaching only #41--I liked the song, surprised it didn't do better. I was a senior at University of Cincinnati in '79--the "fern bar" I thought was so cool always played this while I played backgammon on dates.

I totally remember hearing this song back in the day. It got quite a bit of airplay on the soft rock station in San Diego KIFM. When I hear it it reminds me of the years I was stationed at Camp Pendleton and when I was a newlywed. Seems like light years ago :)
