Well if it's not the biggest pest of all (deer), it's the little ones that can add up in a big way. But with little to spend on commercial insecticides, Joe mixes up a home brew of his own that's just as effective and costs about nothing to make. See what's bugging Joe's garden and how he deals with this latest set of challenges, all while keeping his expense in check.

  • I can't believe I didn't find these video's last year. I like the veggie garden video progression series. I started one last year and again this year. I always like learning.

Any more video's from 2009 and any more to come for 2010?

  • Well, I didn't do much to market these vids either. Glad you like. I will add some vids this year to update. Those will start coming in about mid may.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • QuickGardens: So far, the formula has worked out very well. Although I like your idea of adding some vinegar. But this was quick and easy and so far, so good.

  • Thanks for all your comments homeveggie123. You are very kind.

  • Thanks Godzoned. As if I was looking for another reason to come check out NZ, now I have it. I'll be there soon. Just say when! Thanks for your nice comments and good luck with your summer garden.

  • Brendan, loved reading your comments and the story of the squirt bottles. Thanks for taking the time to comment and especially your final thought about giving it away. I couldn't agree more! Thanks.
