@beowulven i bought my first mighty sphincter album at turtle's, gadsden alabama (yep, alabama), 1987... new manson family. i'm not sure when the internet started but that was way before i had it. when i'm done making love to my moms and sisters i like to listen to 'em to wind down.

Er, ten years earlier...

Respectfully, I doubt that a redneck teenager living in Ohio (or Florida, same difference) would have had access to The Mighty Sphincter, pre-internet. I'm sure his head spun when he found out that someone had done his schtick, better, twenty years earlier. It's all good.

@beowulven I know your comment is a year old, but I have to say, Manson was more influenced by Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne. What gothicism he does have comes from David Bowie. Everything else is shock-rock.

I want Hollywood goes to Hell.
Could've been a huge influence on Marilyn Manson, but Brian was probably listening to Rush instead...
