  • @deneme1985 hi again. i find the solution. it's due to version of the virtualbox. download 4.x versino and works :> by the way, thanks for the videos

  • i downloaded Quickstart-1.0-i386.ova file but vb didnt see it and looking only for .ovf files.

  • I attempted to update the DRUSH commands:

    quickstart@qs10:~/quickstart$ cvs update -dP -r DRUPAL-7--0-9

cvs update: No CVSROOT specified! Please use the `-d' option

cvs [update aborted]: or set the CVSROOT environment variable.

Did I misread or mistype something?

  • I have to disagree with you again. Security is not better nor worse in CentOS.

But let's not make of this a discussion.

Please, read this one over here: google serverfault centos-vs-ubuntu

  • @FelipeFidelix You are absolutely right about the freedom to choose what template you can use in your VPS, but the most used template is Centos because you can use EPEL backports and security fixes that are released A LOT faster than Ubuntu. I'm not saying that using Ubuntu or Debian is not a good option.

  • @keiichitin I have to disagree. Most DECENT VPS let you choose the OS. I see no reason for a person to use CentOS if he will manage his server himself. Ubuntu Server or Debian would be much more suitable for this.

  • This could be more awesome if the linux provided were Centos, the defacto OS for web servers. Most VPS provide Centos as default. Beside that this is a wonderful aid for Drupal developers.

    Thanks!!

  • Hi rorrzoo, please redownload the torrent file for 0.9.1. It should be 24722 bytes. Once you have that, you should be good to go - bittorrent will do the rest.

  • (I am trying to download version 0.9.1, by the way.)

  • There seems to be no seeding for the Torrent file!!
