Ok, so first of all YAY!! I can't beleive I got to 1000 YouTube subscribers!!! It's seriously so flattering and I can't thank you all so much for watching my videos :) Means the world to me! And makes me feel like those hours spent up all night and calling in sick from work cos I was so overly tired from being up all hours vidding worth it :)
So on that note, I've decided to host my first contest!
(sidenote, sorry for the shitty fonts in the promo :S I just got a new computer and I have no fancy fonts yet)
Basically, it's just like it says in the vid :) This is a multi-fandom, multi-round contest. There will be ONE audition that you post as a response to this video by January 18 2010 (although I will allow some leeway on that since I'm in Australia and the 18th here will be the 17th mostly everywhere else) And then from that, I will choose the vidders who go through to the first of THREE rounds :) Themes for each round as will be announced as they come out, but prizes will be announced with the first round.
For the three rounds after the audition, I expect new videos relating to the theme :) So if the theme is Crossovers, I'd love to see a NEW video instead of a crossover you made in 2009.
After January 18 when I close the Auditions, I will post up another vid with the info about when the first round and audition winners :):) Shouldn't be longer than a week after the 18th, but it'll depend on how many entries I get. I'll post all the info you need to know when the audition round is over :)
Please, no collab groups entering! I want this to be about individual vidders showing their talent :):)
You can enter any sort of video you like (but I won't accept slideshows or actor vids, they're just not what I'm after), so Crossovers, AU's, Original Character, Trailers, Slash, Femslash, Promos, Story vids, etc. It can be a new video or an old one, from 2009/10 only. And they MUST be from the following fandoms.
The reason I'm restricting fandoms is because I don't see the point in judging vids for shows I don't like in the first place :)
And yes, it can be a crossover or multifandom, AU, trailer, promo, basically anything, but ALL characters must come from the listed fandoms.

However, since I am allowing Original Character vids (fanfic vids and stuff) I will allow other fandom footage for them. For example, I personally have Emily Blunt "playing" an OC in my Supernatural fic so even though she's not technically in the show, I'm trying to make it seem like she is so the footage can be from anywhere to get that point across.
So if you have a Lost original character who is portrayed in your mind by someone from say, One Tree Hill, then yes you can use it for the audition vid even though OTH is not in the fandom list because you are making it seem as though your OC belongs on Lost :) Hope that's clear :)
RULES
# Only ONE audition vid per vidder and it MUST be to one of the fandoms above.
# Video must be at LEAST 1:00 long (altho if its :058 or something I'll give you some leeway, I just don't want 20 second vids) And no longer than 6 mins.
# Please do not enter a part of a collab for your audition vid. It has to be a whole vid in itself. And again, no collab groups entering please; this is for the single vidder only.
# Post as a response to THIS video by January 18 2010. It's only a week, but since I'm not asking for new vids that's more than enough time for you to post your best work :):)
# Please add "Glee-tastic" in your video summary somewhere. Made up word, but it evokes my love for Glee :) The reason I ask you to do this is so A) no one randomly just adds a vid as a response wanting to win prizes, and B) I know you've read through all the rules :):)
# Have fun! It's a contest, after all!

hey, i posted a vid as response to this a while back (when you first put it up) but i still don't see my entry on here. I promise i read the whole thing through too. I put "glee-tastic" on it and everything. It's a glee vid to the song "boston" just wondering if you got it?? thanx!

Hm...I dont remember seeing it...it may not have attached properly :S:S Tammy had a similar problem so I just put her vid in the summary with the link. Try again and if it doesn't attach; just send me the link and i'll be sure to put you in :)
