@tragicwitch I didn't actually write the lyrics - I don't know much about the anime; I'm slightly ashamed to admit I've never seen it!! - the lyrics were written by LunaNayru for a 5 minute Halloween special fandub she did a couple of years ago. And yes, I lowered the key because I'm not Japanese hahaha ;D they have such high voices compared to boring English me!! So it was more in my key to bring it down, yes.

Very nice. Not an exact translation, but I like the change of direction you took by making the lyrics sound like they were coming from Beatrice. Beautifully sinister. I did notice you sang it in a lower key than the original. Was there a reason or are you just vocally more free in that range?
