Dr. Anna Maria Clement goes into detail about the wide variety of uses for wheatgrass. She's a fantastic and enthusiastic presenter! Be sure to check out the entire lecture :)

  • @scotchlouis I've been scanning through my books on sprouting and wheatgrass and I can't find the exact nutrient(s) responsible for this in wheatgrass. In part it is definitely the high chlorophyll content. The difference between a stimulant like coffee and wheatgrass for liver detoxification is that grass (all edible grasses) help break down pesticides and herbicides etc, and help them be safely removed from the body. You can learn more here: tinyurl (dot) com (slash) sprouting-books

  • Hey Zak, I just asked this on another one of your videos. Coffee has kahweol, cafestol, and caffeine that works to stimulate bile production and help to detoxify the liver. Do you know what wheatgrass has in it that does the same thing? Thanks

  • :D

I would assume so. It can also be poor food combining choices. Digestive ezymes, properly sprouted and germinated nuts seeds legumes grains etc, proper food combining and letting the muscles in the digestive system become stronger over time with raw foods, leads to less gas.

for me the biggest problem is combining fruit with nuts and seeds, worst combo ever. If you don't already food combine, start with that and see if you notice a difference.

  • Zak, I think you are my new favorite Youtuber! The synchronicities of your information with what I am needing is perfect!

She talked about getting alot of gas and it being acids. Is this the same for gas after enemas? I have been having a ton of gas with discomfort even pain until passing it, but it is gas. How might I remedy that?

    Excellant information, Thanks for posting!
