He cursed the rich, blessed the poor, he'd let the oppressed go free once more,

The 1% would feel his punch just like that dirty temple bunch,

The wealthy didn't like the threat and so they put our Lord to death,

Their ill-got gains just made, made them resent
what the money lenders made in just one morning at their trade.
Couldn't even pay off their rent.

His spirit lives when we fight abuse and turn wrongs into right
then we help the ones he came to save.
