I didn't get on video for this one b/c yall know how I feel about the gays...and I could go on and on about this issue.

This is the 2nd suicide in the course of a month that was caused by taunting and bullying at school (1st was 11 y/o Carl Hoover). Come on, people....these kids HAVE to be learning this behavior from SOMEBODY!

Nonetheless, the family needs your help! His Mom is trying to raise money so that she can fly his body back to St. Croix for burial. This money will also go to the funeral. Folks can donate at any Wachovia Bank. Just let the teller know that you want to donate to the Jaheem Herrera Memorial Fund. The account at Wachovia was originally opened at the Wachovia in Atlanta at the West End Mall location, 404-756-4050. You can call that branch with any questions just in case they go to a Wachovia and no info is found.

Yeah, this is real sad.....I feel so bad for his family. It's really unfortunate that for some people the only way out is suicide. I had to deal with a bully for about 4 months...It was the worst time of my life. I eventually just lost my mind on him. He had to go the hospital because I broke his nose and dislocated his jaw, and I was the one who got suspended from school, when my parents asked why the school replied by saying "boys will be boys and your son retaliated, so he got suspended"

my 15 yr old cousin did the same thing in Jan 2009. It is so sad, and no one knows...I mean the schools dont even care, they just dont want to be held responsible- but when you go to them numerous times, and then something like this happens- we need to start also making police reports and documenting this stuff.

Oh, my God....he was beautfiul. Im sure he was a wonderful child...its a shame he had to die. There should be more positive people for kids to look up to, namely thier parents...ppl are so quick to judge and fuck shit up, makin ppls lives miserable.
