@brandonjamesholmes superbowl didnt come until 1985 already his 11th season, the bears from 1975 to 1983 (the length of sanders whole career) were some of the worst teams the league had seen, they were far worse than the lions were.
-again sanders ran behind 3 multi-time probowl linemen, lomas brown, jeff harting, and kevin glover and lomas brown will end up making the hall of fame. the first lineman to even make 1 single probowl for payton was jay hilgenberg in 10th season

@brandonjamesholmes paytons rookie year was 1975, the bears did not get good until 1984-1985, already paytons 10th-11th season, and even then their offense was never that great, their defense carried that 85 team. 1984, his 10th season, was also the first year where payton finally had a pro-bowl lineman, sanders ran behind 3 multi-time pro-bowl linemen, 2 of which were 1st team all pro and 1 will be in hall of fame, payton played the length of sanders career with far worse teams than sanders.
