Overview: Bill is released, and James makes a full confession. Beth panics when she finds out James doesn't have a lawyer. Beth tells Daisy to back off. Lizzie and James have a heated confrontation. Beth apologizes on James' behalf to Bill. Alexandra is onto Alan -- he's using James' situation to get closer to Beth. Beth scrambles to help James. Phillip second-guesses his return to Springfield. Buzz, Lillian, Vanessa, Billy, Alexandra and Alan toast the next generation of their families. Beth berates Phillip.
