The Carrington is a great symmetrical knot (much like the Windsor Knot) and curves in wonderfully - even better than the Windsor knot itself. This is the 'inside out' Windsor and I believe the knot is one of the best looking. Looks fantastic in windsor and spread collars. This Carrington knot is also great for tall gents who want a symmetrical, Windsor knot look but still need to get some extra length in their neckties. Start the tie underside up with the seam showing outwards - you'll save on fabric length when tieing.

  • I used this knot at my high school graduation today! I got many compliments :) thank you

  • i think it's also called the plattsburg knot!

  • This is great. I'm rather tall, and when I first started experimenting with the windsor, I was left with a little stub for a tie.

    Thanks a lot.

  • Cool. I will try that one out! Keen 'em coming Shane
