When I lived in anchorage, I've never seen a car cover used in the below zero winters, It does not sound like a good idea. Trucks or cars, any type of vehicle is good to use in Alaska, but when it comes to icy road purposes in the winter season, TRY TO AVOID REAR WHEEL DRIVE, it is best to use a vehicle that is front wheel drive or all wheel drive with STUDDED TIRES for excellent handling. reply back if you have any more questions.

why can't they put a car cover over the car? is it okay to drive a small passenger car in anchorage or is it better to drive an SUV?
