Does anyone remember the soap opera Santa Barbara? I do. I was a big fan of the show between 1987 and 1992. I started making videos in 1986 and by 1987 I was editing Santa Barbara into mini movies and music videos. I digitized this one a couple of years ago and then recaptured most of the original footage re-editing it back to the way it was meant to be seen. This is a prime example of my early days of video editing. It starts with a two minute introduction to the storyline and the actual video is set to the song "I'm Free" from what I believe is the "Footloose" soundtrack.

  • Great job man!! I really enjoyed it, and I loved how you put the videos with the music and told the story perfectly!!

Are you gonna do one for DX or maybe The Alliance takeover?

BTW, Chapter 7, 8, 11 are gone, where can I view them?

  • Waw, nice video full of action!!! Please post more...

  • UUUUUUUUUUUUUUU,super video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great video - Cruz and Eden are my favorites - thank you so much for sharing it.

  • That is a great video! Well thought out and put together. Thank you so much for sharing! Santa Barabra rocks!

  • I loved Santa Barbara! I remember this storyline too, one of MANY obstacles Cruz and Eden had to overcome before they finally got married. Keith Timmons was one of the most evil villains on daytime, and Elena Nikolas never really got her comeuppance for her dastardly deeds. I watched from 1984 to mid-1988. SoapNet needs to rebroadcast this fine show. This is a reminder of how good soaps used to be. I can't watch them now.

  • Wow, great job! Well done!

  • So cool!! Enjoyed the editing of that storyline.

  • More please!!!!Thanks!!
