That's very cute and nice,,, only that they say it's best to just leave it there with a blanket * and don't distress it : it isn't healthy for the ani al

@ferretgrrl26 Oh shut it. Considering a 3 minute video is all you have to go on you extremists have no right in making any assumptions. You bitching and trolling at animal videos isn't going to do a thing.

awwwwww ur so lucky

the house that you were in that is in this video is being rented by me right now ,, dogwood street..... :) i recognize it, wow a seal has been in this house lol!

@cadyrose19 its so pathetic when youtubers try to play cop after the fact let it go, no one gives a fuck, and did you listen to the video they did call someone and took the advice to the best of theyre ability and the guy said he couldnt operate his flippers sheesh

I guess we all should all be as bitter and accusatory as cadyrose and act like knee jerk know-it-alls who post insulting crap toward people over events they have no idea about except for the 3 minute slice of time posted to youtube.

Yeahhh well problem is seals can only tend to one child at a time, so if they give birth to twins the mother would abandon the one with less of a chance of surviving. But yeah, humans should avoid interaction unless absolutely necessary

@maggie945 i work at a marine mammal rescue center, and we would NEVER tell anybody to take a baby seal in your house and warm it. they can over-heat in no time. HELLO?? they DO live in 50 degree water! mother seals leave their pups on the beach while they hunt. human interaction is the number one cause of seal pup rescues. if you had any sense, you would have called the marine mammal center while the pup was still on the beach. and it looks like you DID get some entertainment out of him to me..

I have never heard of a Marine Mammal center telling anyone to remove baby seals off the beach .I volunteer at one so I would know, and warming it up by the fire please do not do that!! I know you where trying to help but this was not the solution. A mammal center will always tell u to leave the animal and they will come asses the situation. This pup looked way to healthy to be snatched off the beach.

I had to watch this again ... this seal is just too too precious.
We did call the marine mammal rescue center, they asked us questions, determined he was in danger and then told us to bring him in the house, warm him in a towel and then they came, put him on IVs and flew him to the Vancouver aquarium. We wouldn't put him in harms way for our own entertainment.
