I like to think that it is referring to the death of ignorance before the mind becomes rigid an impervious to new ideas and change. Of course I also am starting to believe that consciousness may give rise to the matter and not matter to consciousness. Ref: Amit Goswami. Hoping ones body dies before they age is understandable from a I don't think i can handle the physical pain that may come with age, but ignorant to the fact that as one ages one can become wise to dissipate and negate the pain.
