@johnbpullin1 A Cassock is not a vestment. Cassocks are considered "Street Clothes" for men and boys under the employ of the Church, however that is very little in practice any longer.

Cassock and Ruff! Not all choristers wear red cassocks. It varies from church to church and cathedral to cathedral. In regards to the surplice, it's not usually worn unless in a service. For practices and concerts it's not worn.
Interesting to see that they're wearing their ruffs with the button/velcro at the front!! We wore ours with the fastening at the back!! And we were in blue cassocks!
is that their real costume?

pretty odd... i was satisfied with their performance but not with the costume...

@lhynje : it is the costume of all cathedral, collegiate and abbey choirs in England, and of the ECUSA choirs in USA.
