Man, i don't know but if sacha modolo(colnago guy) were better placed in the sprint he would have won it...

You can see his acceleration in the final, he even passed Bennati :O

Great form no doubt, but M-S requires far more than that. Watch Freire's positioning throughout the last km. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Only years of professional experience winning gets you that.

@HWTheLegend That's why he is professional. The average person really does not understand how impressive that is. To put out 1500+ watts after multiple hours of pedaling. I have a good inclanation that 1500 watts would rival most NFL player power outputs.

Freire has had a succesful career, but this was one of his most impressive wins, in my opinion. The cheer surplus of power after such a distance, good stuff.

my god freire was on form there. Never ever a surprise when freire wins. he can be 'off form' and then turn up and win a classic or a world championship. rode away from a fairly on form boonen. and everyone else. Good win.
