This organist is David Hegarty - longtime Castro Theatre Organist. I'm sitting in his living room right now and just found this clip.

Hi, there is a CD of the castro organ. It is not of a resident organist, but you'll be hard pushed to find a much better organist around. His name is Simon Gledhill, try to find the record...you'll like it!

Thanks SO MUCH David! I can't wait to buy it! You know I stumbled upon that I think has a GREAT style and technique is Jelani Eddington. His CD, STARS FELL ON ALABAMA (the Alabama Theater in Birmingham, AL, 2004 is beautiful.

Wish I did. I was just lucky to sneak in my digital camera and take a quick video and not get caught! I asked the manager if there was a CD available of ANY of their organists playing at the Castro, and he said no. Hard to believe! I'll have to check the website of A.T.O.S. (american theater organ society I think)
