Lady de R calls herself a "lifelong Democrat," but she switched her allegiance to the Republicans in 2008 after Hillary lost, and campaigned actively for John McCain. This would disqualify her as any kind of Democrat in my book. She clearly just doesn't like Barack Obama. Can she really believe that Bill Clinton would have cut deficits if he had inherited the economy Obama faced 1/09? Every reputable economist I've read suggests this strategy would have been disastrous.
