The inimitable musician "Thirai isai Thilagam" KV Mahadevan is one of the integral contributors for AP Nagarajan's devotional ventures ,creates a seperate dimension with his flamboyant music. And Thirumal Perumai is no exception but sadly, marked the end of the APN- KVM combo after which APN paired up with Kunnakudi for the rest of his projects. This song, vivaciously sung by "Isai arasi" P Susheela and perfectly complemented by Soolamangalam S Rajalakshmi is a real dulcet . For Kannadasan, it is a child's play to extol anything, and here given a scumptuous theme , the Chozha king and kingdom , he cake walked by delivering his best without heroic efforts. Whenever i listen to this song, i am always reminded of Trichy and surrounding regions where i spent my college days. This movie also features a serene lullabic version of bharathi's Kaakai chiraginiley which i ve planned to upload later.
