I have been developing this OS for some time now. It is fully internet based. All the applications that You can setup are web apps such as SplashUp, Zoho Documents, Picnik etc. I unfortunately didn't make a screenshot app so I had to take the photos with my camera xD. I will be making a live video so You can see the system in action, and everyone who favorites this video will get a free beta when I finish it :). I would like to thank http://www.splashup.com/ for being the first application I successfully ran on the system!
EDIT: See the live video now on: /watch?v=uwmo2knitVo

  • I am sorry to say that I have halted working on this project as another major IT company decided to work on a similar idea. The side menu did prove inpractical, but I was acknowledged regarding progress in other parts of the system and You may expect a similar OS to be released in the future. I apologize for not being able to provide more information.

  • Linux Web OS? Um, you may want to figure out a new name as Palm beat you to it.

  • @brianreading Actually, I posted this video on March 18 and webOS from Palm was released in June of the same year.

  • Google 'whylinuxisbetter' and go to the first result to see why Linux is better than Windows

  • @0Munch0 No true Palm presented WebOS in January 2009 @ CES'09.

And they were working on that a least 2 years before that.

  • Yes and no. the only reason 'no' is that not everyone will want to rely on the cloud for certain things, especially businesses. And, if your internet goes out (like not paying for it or the isp has a problem) then your system is useless. I could see it on netbooks and other portables but not on a desktop machine.

  • looks so cool!!!! i need to know where to get this!!!

  • the menu is too invasive... it would be better that if you click an option it travel up, and displayed the information in que same space, instead of growing towars the right

  • you says "Linux is better than Windows" -.- 1*
