@dutico they never made back to SHINDIG because they were A HUGE HIT......everyone wanted to have the Supremes in their show. By Shindig had no power....while Hullabloo and Ed Sulivan did,

I remember seeing this actual performance! "Shindig!" had initiated a feature called "The Pick of the Week" in which a singer or group was invited on the show to sing a new song. Then, if the song became a hit, they would be invited back to sing it again. This worked out well for the first few songs, but I remember in the case of this one in particular, the Supremes never did make it back.
