Just bought the new Sony Ericsson k850i and mucking around with the video camera

yeah its pretty good but i think the n95 is better video quality, k850i is a better camera..

try the samsung jet video,,better than n95,k850i,

price are cheap,,,but quality is better,,unlike nokia & sonyericsson high price but quality are very poor..

because, simply a video takes much more power to process, and these lil mobile fones dont got enough processesing power to produce decent video.

Finally someone who's been wondering also! I've been wondering why still images would be better than video, yet they use the same optic... I guess Video Drivers (hacks) would make sense as to making the video quality better...

but that wouldnt make sense because theres only 1 set of optic lenses and they would work the same way when taking a still shot and video recording.

i agree with you 100% fantastic phones and brilliant photos but terrible `blotchy` video recording.

i have been researching this and i realy do wonder why. i cant find any information on what optic lenses the k850i uses. all i know it has xenon flash but even full detailed specs dont say what optics were used.

why do you think the video quality is poor and pixelated when they still images are fantastic?

i realy have to kill my curiosity with this and ive been researching for a few months now.

Whats QVGA mean? Actully i dont know what VGA means either but i know its under a megapixel
