J'ai encore été le voir chanter quelques mois avant sa mort .
Il ne savait quasi plus marcher , on devait le porter sur la scène.
C'était un grand artiste !

In 1990, Ivan Rebroff gave a concert in our city. That evening I went to the cinema with my buddies. Suddenly a black limousine with tinted windows stopped and someone turned down the rear indow. It was Ivan Rebroff. He was actually wearing his fur hat and kindly asked for the way to the church (where the concert took place). Those were just 10 seconds of my life, but I'll never forget this and his steady but voluminous sounding voice.
