Weather you "notice" it or not doesn't make it pointless. Most of what cinematography does is psychological and helps tell the story by setting the appropriate mood. Most movie goers are ignorant (like yourself) to how a film is constructed. The visuals, just like the music, set the tone of a scene. It is an art form, and just because you don't get it, doesn't make it false.

Great . Thanks. Short and clear. Love it.

If you can't see the difference, there is seriously something wrong with the eyes. Some might say it just looks more saturated with color. That might be a good way of explaining it. I can tell you that what is being shown here works. But even more exciting is being in the course with Aron and working as part of a crew making it happen. An experience for sure!

Cinematography is an art wgoodson88. Real DP's see light as a paint brush. Small things do make a difference. As for the Video I don't think either one was meant to be "better looking". They were just different.

pure ignorance it's an amazing thing. everyone watching a movie notices everything done whether they know and understand it or not. just b/c you only see a crisp fully produced film and not one shot on a $200 home camera doesn't mean there isn't a huge difference. if 'unnecessary' things like correct lighting weren't accounted for we would all be watching low res home video masterpieces from unartistic ppl the likes of you. accepting low artistic standards is a shame
