This is ridiculously stupid. What does a person's color have to do with their name. I also think it isn't something an Englishman would actually say, considering, that it is a fairly uniquely American cultural phenomenon that the decendents of slaves here have names any different from their white citizens...It is a by-product of segregation. In Britain black descendants of slaves have very British names...The same is true in the Caribbean. Only on an American show would this line make any sense.
