Tendonitis takes long to show up and it is the answer of the body to a fixed pattern of movements which affect the tendon. Up to now, classical electrotherapy had serious problems to treat them. Watch now what technology has provided a therapeutical improvement in the treatment of tendonitis.

  • It depends on how chronic your injury is. Normaly, you should need three to five sessions to remove inflammation. In your case, you only experience pain with a specific position, so that tells you that it is not a severe tendonitis. You should count on three to five 20 minute sessions.

  • very interesting but is the treatment permanent? or do you have to do it for the rest of your life?

  • Yes, the treatment is permanent. Once you have released inflammation, it does not hurt anymore. Some times, a tendonitis in a shoulder or elbow might hide a cervical problem. So you should also consider specific therapy there. You do not have to do it for the rest of your life.

  • @Capenergy How much does this treatment cost?

  • I hyperextened my elbow and developed tendonitis and re-hyperextened the bad elbow and its worse than ever i don't know what to do for it and being a lineman it doesn't help that i use my hands alot so wondering what you would reccomend and I hyperextended it 3 months ago and its starting to hurt my hands

  • I have major tendonitis through my shoulders to my elbow to the joints in my hand, from weight lifting. Is there anyway possible besides advil or icy-hot to get rid of the inflammation pain that I get at night (maybe acupuncture or shock therapy)? The pain has become unbearable when I wake up at 3 i n the morning and I literally have to go in the shower at night and burn my arm to make the swelling pain stop.

  • what did it say about a fever?

  • how long does it take for my shoulder tendonitis to heal? hurts only when throwing a ball overhanded
