Facing a growing revolt among civil servants who are resisting forced postings to Iraq, Condoleeza Rice has reminded them of their duties. There will be 48 open positions in Iraq next year and foreign service workers are obligated by their oath of office to work at any diplomatic mission worldwide, regardless of risk. Al Jazeera's Ghida Fakhry spoke with Tom Krajeski, the US state department's director of career development and assignments, and asked him whether he was surprised by the angry reaction of some diplomats who are being forced to work in Iraq or risk losing their jobs.

It's nice to see the State Department talking to aljazeera. The Pentagon policy is louder, with lots of flames.
