Unfortunately, not all gliders like to cuddle. All of my 'born here' gliders are sweet and love to cuddle, because I handled them from day 1 OOP. I have rescues and rehomes that are not nearly as sweet as other gliders, but I still love them. It all depends on their background and their breeder.

@hooker0face For someone that isn't a breeder, what would you say is the best age to get one?
I've been told that +/- 8 weeks after coming out of the pouch is the best.
You sound like you have experience with these animals so, what's your oppinion?
In order for a great bonding experience, before or after the 8 weeks out of pouch?

@gaiolinn 8 weeks is the youngest age to pull from the mother, regardless of who wants the joey. The only reason a joey should leave the mother prior to that is if it is being rejected or if it ill. I have personally, always stood at 10 weeks. 10 - 12 weeks, to me is the right age to pull.
Any age is a good age for bonding with your glider. Have you considered a pair of rescues? There are many out there who need loving homes. If you're interested in a rescue, message me and I can help you out!
